Isaiah's First Day of "School"

My 2-year-old started "school" today. Really, he just had his first day of Speech Therapy today, but he had to be officially enrolled in Rolling Ridge Elementary to do that. Isaiah will be going Monday's and Thursday's for half an hour. We really like the Speech Pathologist he's meeting with and feel like it is all coming together finally.

Today at school, Isaiah played with Play Dough and worked on P, B, T, D and M isolation. His homework is to keep practicing those. He has a particularly hard time with T.
I struggle between feeling that he's way too sweet and little to be formally enrolled in school, and feelings of great joy that this was all relatively easy to get set up and it will help him so much. This is definitely one of the times when I can be thankful for the blessings that modern life bring to us.

oh my gosh nancy he is too adorable! I agree-it's great that we have all these systems in place when we need them.

He sure knows how to make those mouth muscles produce a cute smile. You seriously need a new pic for the banner of your blog.

Awesome. He looks so handsome. And amen about the gratitude thingy. I much prefer the odds today for childbearing successfully...
