I totally forgot to share with you about my new calling! On Sunday I was called as the First Counselor in the Young Women's presidency. I am totally psyched! I probably should be a little freaked out - but I'm just excited. It's a pretty small group, but it doesn't seem awkward like I originally thought maybe it would be. When I was in Young Women's (as a young woman) it was a huge group. There were probably as many (if not more) girls in just my age group as there is in our entire organization here. I had some great leaders. I can still remember a couple of specific lessons that really did get through to me. And I can still feel the love that those leaders had for me. I think that's why I'm so thrilled about this calling. I can't wait to bring the Spirit and love that I felt, to the next generation.
We had our first Presidency meeting today. I felt kinda silly throughout it since I'm pretty sure I was smiling the whole time. ...I'm really excited.
