"Doing A Deck"

I heard about this fun new way to workout on The Biggest Loser this week. You use a deck of cards. The number on the card tells you how many rep's to do (face cards are all 10 reps). The symbol tells you what exercise to do. Diamonds are push-ups, Hearts are lunges, Spades are crunches, Clubs are reverse crunches. An Ace means a one minute break.

Get it? So you take the deck, shuffle it, and go at it. So, a 7 of hearts mean you do 7 lunges. A jack of spades means you do 10 crunches.

Richard and I did it together last night and it took us almost exactly half an hour. We were both pretty whipped out afterward, but it was fun. Try it!

so you do the whole deck? That does sound like a workout! I think Roscoe would love this.

does reverse crunch mean you straighten your legs and lift them instead of your shouders?

What a great idea! Sounds like something my son would love doing with me.

Thanks for the great tip, Nancy :)
